I had the opportunity along with Braiden4OP and Paul Filsinger to meet up with Mary Brummer who the President of group. She shared all the wonderful information about the history *and future* of this amazing landmark in Orchard Park!

Yesterday I had the opportunity to attend the “Traffic Calming Walk and Workshop” hosted by Dan Burden of Blue Zones and the Village of OP. The event was focused on ways to update our village corridor to transform it into a more walkable and safe space. It was eye-opening to learn the small changes that villages and towns can make to build more people-centered communities that bring residents together and increase business and revenue in an area.
While the focus of this study was the Village of OP, the growth and success helps ALL residents of Orchard Park and these learnings can be expanded to the rest of our Town to Enhance our Community- which is what my campaign is centered around.
The workshop allowed me and Braiden4OP to talk with residents about their areas of concern in the Town & Village and work as a community to come up with ideas and solutions! The event really exceeded my expectations and can’t wait to see what comes from it!

Whew – what a day! Started off with an energizing time at our Canvassing Kick Off Thank you to the candidates on the Slate and some amazing volunteers for heading out to meet with voters and get their thoughts on ways to #EnhanceOurCommunity. I got to have some great conversations out there today!!
Then on to watching my boys play at Highmark Stadium with the YMCA Jr. Bills! Then on to Quaker Day Jazz Festival! Amazing music and yummy eats.
